New to massage or unsure what to expect?
Before your session, you will be asked to fill out a health intake form if you haven't already. The questions alert the therapist to any modifications needed to ensure your health and safety. If you have any questions about why a specific item is relevant, Dr. Wolcott or your therapist would be happy to discuss your concerns. All information provided is confidential and protected by HIPPA. This form can be completed either online and submitted electronically before your visit or filled out before your session is scheduled to start. We encourage you to pick the one that suits you best.
After any paperwork is complete; your therapist will greet you, discuss your goals for that session, and answer any questions you have before starting the massage. The therapist will leave allowing you to disrobe to your level of comfort, please alert your therapist to any concerns about draping or clothing so we can adjust the session to your needs. During your massage, conversation is your choice and we will respect your preferences, though your therapist may require your feedback about clinical techniques. If at any point you would like to make an adjustment, whether it's sound, lighting, temperature, or something else, please let your therapist know.
After your massage, your therapist will allow you to redress and meet you outside the room with water. We are happy to provide self care suggestions to get the most out of your treatment. If you are also a chiropractic patient, an adjustment is always available after your massage.
